Pharmacy Robber Caught Pill-Handed On CCTV
- 2nd August 2016

A man, of no permanent address, was sentenced today as he robbed his local pharmacy for pre-dispensed Oxycodone to be picked up. The court heard today that the man leapt over the counter and grabbed several ready bags, all primarily for delivery to disabled patients. He then pushed over a display shelf to stop being chased, and ran off. Luckily, the man's facial features were caught on CCTV which lead to his arrest, before he was able to make use of the prescription drugs he stole. Oxycodone itself is a Class A drug without a prescription, and intent to sell can come with imprisonment and lifetime fine.
